It is a joy to be working together with you in the holy purpose of maintaining the Benevolent Association to ensure the availability of a Christian Science refuge and Christian Science nursing in time of need. We are so grateful to report there is lovely progress being demonstrated in many areas, and your support plays a critical role in that progress.
We are working diligently to demonstrate what is still required in preserving the refuge the Benevolent Association provides and meeting the great demand for Christian Science nursing and Christian Science nurses.
Thank you for supporting this holy work and the healings that are actively being witnessed for children and adults alike in our Visiting Christian Science Nursing Service, our Outpatient Room, and on the Christian Science nursing floor. And we are grateful for the healings that continue to be supported steadfastly day and night at the BA.
We received this recent note of thanks for the support and refuge of the BA:
“Thank you for accepting me on the Christian Science nursing floor when I had such an urgent need. I’m so grateful for my healing and for all the spiritual and practical help that supported my forward steps. It’s so clear that divine Love was lifting me up.”
We greatly appreciate your support of the BA’s Christian Science Nurses Training School as it continues to support members of The Mother Church coming from around the world for training in the art of this ministry. In serving as the Center for the Christian Science Nursing Arts (CSNA), the BA teaches the complete four-course CSNA curriculum while working together with other Christian Science nursing organizations to have this training available at their respective facilities.
Having this Christian Science refuge and the ministry of Christian Science nursing available in time of need is integral to the healing mission of our Church—to bearing witness to divine Love meeting the human need, and to serving as “a help that must be supplied to maintain the dignity and defense of our Cause” (Mary Baker Eddy, Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896, p. 148).
Today, there continues to be a great demand for the refuge of the Benevolent Association, established by The Mother Church in 1916 as a result of Mrs. Eddy’s directive to the Christian Science Board of Directors. Your gifts to the general fund are vital to maintaining the Benevolent Association for the present and future.
We are deeply grateful for your loving support.
Sincerely,
Gregory A. McLane, Chair, Board of Trustees
