"BA on the Road" visits Lowell, MA

On Saturday, November 2, we enjoyed a visit to a nearby branch church as part of our new outreach program, The BA on the Road. The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Lowell, Massachusetts, graciously hosted our visit, and individuals from several different areas of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire attended the meeting.  We enjoyed the opportunity to share about our Christian Science nursing services and other programs offered at the Benevolent Association.

The morning started with Jonatha Wey, BA Board Vice Chair providing an introduction and welcome followed by Carol Worley, CEO, who shared a brief history of the BA. Heather Worley, Director of Christian Science Nurses Training, talked about the Christian Science nursing services offered at the BA as well as our Christian Science Nurses Training School. Peter Morgan, Director of Operations, provided an overview of The Residences at 910 and shared a brief history of the residential program.

We will continue visiting churches next spring in each New England state. In March we’ll visit Connecticut, then New Hampshire and Maine in April, and Rhode Island and Vermont in May. We hope you can join us in the spring!
