Can you afford Christian Science nursing?
Often Christian Scientists dismiss the idea of calling upon Christian Science nursing because of cost. And that should never happen!
Recently the Christian Science Provider Network (CSPN) reached out to us to express their gratitude for Janiva Toler and her work with the CSPN, and to share this message with the Field.
A message from THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PROVIDER NETWORK
The CSPN was created by The Mother Church as a non-profit organization to help individual Christian Scientists and Christian Science nursing facilities navigate the complexities of filing claims for health insurance benefits. The CSPN also helps ensure that Christian Science nursing facilities uphold a standard of service that qualifies them to receive reimbursement payments. Without the help of the Provider Network, claims are often delayed or even unresolved. The CSPN’s support can make a real difference when it comes to paying the bill for care.
In recent years, The Mother Church made the decision to have the Provider Network’s funding be sourced directly from the Field, with the CSPN managing its fundraising efforts. As the expense of health care has increased, so have the complexities of insurance reimbursement, in turn raising the costs for the CSPN to process claims. Relying on the financial support of the Field, the Provider Network has been able to continue to serve those in need as well as Christian Science nursing facilities. Your donations to the CSPN significantly help this work. The Network is most grateful for your continued support!
