Assistant Director of Christian Science Nursing 

We are seeking an experienced Christian Science nurse to fill the post of Assistant Director of Christian Science Nursing at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association. This position is a vital part of both succession planning and the restructuring of the department as we move into our 106th year of providing Christian Science nursing and training. 

This post will provide a unique opportunity to grow and be mentored in management and gain invaluable skills in support of your practice with a seasoned management team. Our Christian Science nursing department works closely with our Christian Science Nurses Training School, providing a wonderful atmosphere of learning and upholding the standard of the Manual By-law “Christian Science Nurse.”

A current listing in The Christian Science Journal and completion of a Christian Science nurses training program is requisite. Management experience as a supervisor or a mentor in Christian Science nursing is strongly preferred.

Christian Science Nursing Arts Mentor/Instructor 

Would you like to work with a dedicated team of Christian Science nurses in supporting others in bringing out the art of Christian Science nursing?  

We are looking for a Christian Science nurse who has a sound and experienced practice in the field of Christian Science nursing and exemplifies the qualities of a Christian Science nurse. This individual needs to have had substantial Christian Science nurses training and be interested in working with a dedicated team of Christian Scientists within the BA’s training program to support members of The Mother Church as they meet the requirements of the Church Manual By-law “Christian Science Nurse.”

Reception Manager 

Our Reception Desk is often the first point of contact people have with the BA, whether in person, through email, or over the phone. If you love to foster a warm, welcoming, and uplifting environment and cherish a desire to serve our Cause, you might enjoy supporting this refuge for healing, prayer, and spiritual growth as our Reception Manager. 

This role manages a team of Reception Hosts and responds to many varied requests in an active environment. Working closely with other departments, there are many opportunities to prayerfully support this refuge and its activities. Qualities needed for this role include spiritual discernment, alertness, computer skills, and careful attention to detail as you assist callers, guests, residents, and staff.
