Sharing about Christian Science nursing at Annual Meeting

On the Saturday before the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, children (and their parents) and young adults had the opportunity to attend sessions of their choice on topics related to serving Church and the Cause. Heather Worley, our Director of Christian Science Nurses Training, was asked to participate in the two sessions offered about Christian Science nursing.

The sessions were nicely attended, with participants of all ages, from 12 years old and up. Audrey Sentinella, the Manager of the Christian Science Nursing Activities office at The Mother Church, took the lead with talking to the groups. Heather and Alaina Carlson, the Co-Director of Christian Science Nursing at Tenacre, spoke about how they were led to this ministry and how training supports individuals with their developing practice.

Lauren Littell and Nicole Graham were also in attendance to talk about the Christian Science Nursing Youth Service Corps, which gives opportunities for internships in Christian Science Nursing organizations.

How grateful we were for this opportunity to share the joy of Christian Science nursing!
